Global Perspective: Intercultural Art World

There are many emerging trends in the art world, often coming from unlikely sources. One of the largest of these trends is the influence and inspiration that is coming from Asian countries, namely China and India. Because these two countries have extremely large populations and a long tradition of cultural heritage, many people are visiting the countries to see the age old traditions that are still practiced in certain areas.

In returning to their artwork, the artists are incorporating these traditions with their own vision of art. It is in this way that a global understanding of these seemingly distant cultures is finally taking place.
