Leaps and Bounds: Art knows no boundaries

No matter what the type of art it may be photography, painting, drawing or even writing poetry it is all a form of self expression. This self expression comes from the things around the artist, how they feel when they are around a particular object or even how a subject topic may make them feel.

Art from all around the world is different. One point of view in the art world is just not enough. That is why art galleries all around the world host shows for many artists from outside of their own country. These same galleries do host shows for its own citizens as well but looking at art from a different country can be a very enriching experience. This can help an individual learn about others customs and some of the hardships that the people from that other country may have had to or are still having to endure.

Art leaps over boundaries put up by language and social class, even sometimes age. A seven year old child could be a genius when it comes to painting abstractly, maybe even better than someone with ten times their experience and three times their age. Art knows no bounds and allows all walks of life to have the same type of voice. Shapes and colors are seen, not the clothing, age or economical status.

Being a worldly individual does not mean that you need to go and visit each and every country on the face of this earth. It simply means that you are aware of what is out there. Looking into these foreign type art shows can be one of the ways that this can be done. Amazingly enough you may be surprised that you as an individual have a lot in common with someone that comes from a remote country through the way that they execute their art.
